HERA qPCR Kit with UDG

The HERA qPCR probe master mix with UDG is a ready-to-use real-time PCR kit optimised for the real-time quantitation of target DNA using fluorophore labelled probes. Utilising our innovative technology, the HERA kit is designed for accurate, highly sensitive and specific qPCR reactions. The kit also includes the uracil-DNA-glycosylase (UDG) system, preventing any contamination and amplification of uracil containing amplicons.

The kit is suitable for a wide range of research applications, making the HERA qPCR kit with UDG a convenient and powerful method for DNA detection and quantification.

The one-step approach to qPCR allows for the full reaction to occur in one tube, limiting the potential for contamination and improving reproducibility through reduced sample handling. The ability to detect multiple amplicons in one tube is the principle advantage of this probe-based technology, unlike traditional technologies which are limited by light channels in the real-time PCR instrument.

HERA is formulated with a unique passive reference dye that is compatible across a variety of instrument platforms, including those that require a no, low and high ROX reference signal.

Features

  • Efficient– Using multiple probes in the master mix allows detection of multiple amplicons (fluorophore signals) in the same tube.
  • Accurate– Our probe master mix shows high specificity during amplification of the target area.
  • High yield– The ready-to-use master mix ensures optimal performance of HERA Taq Polymerase to maximise DNA yield with little optimisation required.
  • Robust– High fidelity amplification with little optimisation required. Amplification for products up to 5 kilobases.
  • Reliable– The UDG system reduces the risk of PCR product contamination in high throughput labs, giving peace of mind.
